La Postina by Zanellato, the new luxury Messenger bag

Zanellato is an Italian brand that focuses his production on fine leather goods presenting collections of handmade accessorizes, many of which vintage style. La Postina is maybe the most surprising among Zanellato's bags. It is a shoulder bag that reminds the ones the postman used to have in the 1950s and has a very intimate inspiration.

Franco Zanellato, in fact, decided to create this messenger bag after a personal memory, in which he remembered about his grandfather, the postman, and his job of delivering letters directly on the doorsteps, revealing a personal world we now have lost in the speed of e-mails.

La Postina is a shoulderbag made from a real postman's bag sample. Zanellato obtained the permission from Poste Italiane (Italian mail service) to use the original fasteners. The curved flap vintage leather and original clasps and studs characterize this messenger bag and all models in the line that derives from it.

Zanellato has recently presented a whole collection of bags for women, made from the finest leather and realized in different models and colors. The Twin line is designed for modern independent women, with pastel colors soft twin bags with double zip side by side. The Pastel line is for the sophisticated woman. It was inspired by paintings from the '50 and has free brush strokes that are hand painted in soft colors, creating a canvas effect.
