Limited edition fragrances by Officina Santa Maria Novella

The historic Santa Maria Novella perfume-pharmaceutical factory in the heart of Florence, celebrates 400 years of business and offers two new limited edition fragrances for Christmas 2010, “1612 Ottone” and “1612 Porcellana”(only 2012 pieces of each).

"1612 Ottone" has a strong and decisive scent, starting with top notes of rose, bergamot and petit-grain, fading with oregano, cinnamon, cloves and red pepper and finallly finishing with
sandalwood, cedar and incense.

"1612 Porcellana", by contrast, has a more romantic appeal, a delicate composition which opens with notes of jasmine and white flowers and grows with star anise, cardamom and galbanum before closing with cedar wood.

Both scents are contained in numbered hand-crafted bottles with elegant brass or porcelain tops.

On  December 21 2012, the day of celebration of four hundred years of Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica Santa Maria Novella, the sale of two original fragrances will come to a close, thus making them objects for collectors.
